As I step into the role of president of Shasta College and reflect on our history over the last 75 years, I am truly humbled. We measure our achievements by the successes of our students and the contributions we make to the growth and prosperity of our communities. Our commitment to improving our students’ lives has never been clearer to me. Since our inception, the dedicated staff and caring faculty that make up Shasta College have been, and continue to be, the gatekeepers of our mission, vision, and calling. Together, we have built a legacy of service and excellence, rooted in the belief that ‘Success Starts at Shasta College!’ As we embark on this year-long celebration, I am excited to collaborate with our dedicated faculty, staff, and community partners to continue advancing our mission of providing a welcoming and inclusive environment that provides transformative educational opportunities.
