The new Alcohol and Drug Studies program offers both a local degree and a certificate, designed to meet the growing demand for certified counselors in the field of chemical dependency and substance abuse. This comprehensive vocational, academic, and clinical program focuses on the prevention, treatment, and recovery of individuals affected by addiction. Through a research-driven curriculum, students will acquire the skills necessary to become substance use prevention and intervention specialists, addressing the needs of both public and private sectors throughout California.
