Automotive Technology
The Automotive Technology Program prepares a student for entry into the auto technician trade. Training will develop your skills in engine, chassis, electrical repair, and power train. Other classes teach you how to operate diagnostic equipment, perform front end alignments, repair power steering systems, adjust and overhaul fuel systems, repair transmissions, and repair and adjust air-conditioning systems. Courses are designed to prepare students to become an ASE Certified Technician. In addition, Automotive Technology offers several certificates that could lead to specialized areas of employment such as brakes, smog or air conditioning.
