The district serves residents in Shasta, Tehama, and Trinity Counties, including parts of Lassen, Modoc and Humboldt Counties—an area that is more than 10,000 square miles and larger than the state of Massachusetts.
All Shasta College campuses offer students the ability to complete a degree or certificate without commuting to the main campus in Redding. Additionally, high school students can earn credits toward high school completion through the Concurrent Enrollment program available at each campus.
Originally a fur and trading center of the Wintu Indians, consequently owned by a soldier and his family after the Mexican-American War—our Main Campus spans 337 acres in east Redding, CA.
Established in 2004, the Intermountain Campus offers students in Burney, CA and surrounding areas access to a variety of services including interactive television (ITV) and online classes, counseling, financial aid, and more.
Opened in 2008, the Trinity Campus is situated adjacent to the Trinity Alps Performing Center in Weaverville, CA. Students can access a full array of services along with interactive television (ITV) and online classes.
Opened in 2009, the Tehama Campus features a state-of-the-art facility with high-tech classrooms and computer labs, and a science lab designed to support a variety of lab-based programs, from health care to environmental studies.
Built in 2007 in downtown Redding, the Health Sciences and University Center houses the Dental Hygiene and Nursing Programs along with baccalaureate degree programs offered by California State University, Chico.
