Shasta Portal
Shasta College utilizes a central login portal for password management service and provides access for students and staff to MyShasta, Canvas, Microsoft 365, Campus Logic, and other systems.
Due to increases in phishing attempts Multi-Factor Authentication (commonly known as MFA or 2FA) has been enabled on all student accounts.
To set up MFA, refer to the drop down menu section below titled "Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication".
Shasta Portal for Students
If you have applied to the college through CCCApply, but have not yet enrolled, you will have an account in the Portal.
If you have not attended for more than two (2) primary semesters (Fall/Spring), you will need to reapply in order for your Portal account to be created. Reapply at: CCCApply
It will take up to 48 hours (two business days) for the account to be created and for you to receive our welcome email.
- If you're a new student, please follow the instructions in your Welcome Letter email message that will contain your new student email address and a temporary password. Please check your spam or junk folder as our Welcome Letter may end up there.
- Students must sign in with their new student email address and complete the account/password recovery process to have full account access in the Shasta Portal and to prevent account issues occurring in the future.
- Your student email is your current username and the domain @students.shastacollege.edu. For example: s.knights50@students.shastacollege.edu.

To sign in to Shasta Portal, navigate to my.shastacollege.edu. Use your student email address as your username and your current password to log in. If you are a new student, you will receive an email with your student email address and a temporary password.

- Students must sign in with their new student email address and complete the account/password recovery process to have full account access in the Shasta Portal and to prevent account issues occurring in the future.
- Your student email is your current username and the domain @students.shastacollege.edu. For example: s.knights50@students.shastacollege.edu.
Multi-Factor Authentication has been enabled for all student accounts, implemented July 3rd, in an effort to protect students' information from being compromised. The most common method for MFA is to use the Microsoft Authenticator App. Please review the guide linked below for setting up MFA on your device.
You will need to continue to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) throughout your time at Shasta College. Please review the guide below for continued use of MFA.
If you need to change or update your password, you will be required to use a 14 character password.
Shasta Portal Account Recovery Options
- Click Here if you have already updated your login in the Portal and need to recover or reset your password.
- Click Here if you don't know your college student email account and have not set up your password recovery method, submit a web help ticket.
If you're experiencing other issues with the Portal, clearing your browser cache will often resolve the problem.
This message typically means one of two things, either you are typing in your email incorrectly, or your account is not in our new system yet.
Are you a Returning Student and need to enroll in classes? Students who have not attended for two (2) primary semesters (Fall/Spring) or more will need to reapply to update their academic profile/records, please reapply to Shasta College at CCCApply.

Please Note: If you have not attended Shasta College in the last two primary terms (Fall/Spring), you will need to reapply with CCCApply to bring your account up to date before we can assist in resetting your password.
