Graduation Filing Period

Apply for Graduation Now! If you intend to get your degree in Summer ’19 or Fall ’19 you must apply prior to your final semester, February 4th – March 29th. In order to qualify for your degree you must have:

• All required coursework completed by the end of the term in which you are applying to graduate.
• For associates degrees: you have at least 60 units completed as well as specific course requirements towards your degree emphasis.
• All transfer transcripts, Advanced Placement (AP) credits, Course Waivers/Substitutions of Core Courses must be attached to your application or already on file with Admissions and Records

You can pick up an application at the Admissions and Records office or download the application from our website at  www.shastacollege.edu/applyfordegree. Click on “Forms” on the left-hand side of the page. Select “Degree and Certificate Application”. If you have any questions please consult a counselor for a Grad Check prior to turning in your application. Otherwise, complete the application in its entirety and return to Admissions & Records. You will be contacted if you are deficient credits or coursework.

All degree completion/diploma questions should be directed to Admissions & Records or Counseling. You will be contacted by the Student Life Office prior to Commencement with more information about the ceremony.
